For the first time in over two years the RBHL will be hosting a tournament! The Crazy 8s tournament will be held at XL Sports World on Sunday, August 14th for players of all skill levels! Six teams will be drafted to duke it out for more than just bragging rights in this 4v4 format. Each team will have 8 rostered runners. Goalies have already been contacted and will be drafting the teams this time around! Winners will receive a gift bag from our tournament sponsor Raleigh Brewing Company! A huge thanks to Raleigh Brewing for supporting the RBHL!
The tournament will start at 4:30 PM and may go as late as 11:30 PM. Each team is guaranteed four twenty minutes long games, split in two ten minute periods. Each team will play three games round robin style followed by a single elimination playoff. The clock will stop on penalties and at every whistle in the last minute of the game. Minor penalties will be one minute, majors will be three. All other rules are based on the RBHL rule book.
